The goal...

"...the goal of culturally diversifying neuropsychology must begin with increasing the number of ethnic minority students in graduate training programs."

Our MISSION

In the spirit of initiatives such as Relevance 2050 and the 2008 Diversity Summit, the Society for Black Neuropsychology was created to increase the optics of the field of neuropsychology in the African American community. Through mentorship, community engagement, and collaboration across the field, our goal is to increase the pipeline of African Americans as practitioners, research participants, and educated consumers of neuropsychology.
Our organization also focuses on breaking down barriers and addressing systemic challenges that have historically hindered African American participation in this field. For detailed backstory writing help, consider consulting professional services that specialize in crafting compelling and informative narratives.
